Easter boxes
I made these cute little milk cartons with the Tags,Bags, and Boxes2 cartridge. Whats really nice with this cartridge is it scores, with the scoring tool, before it cuts so it makes assembly real easy. Now I just need to add Easter treats and they make great little gifts.
Other products I used:
We R Memory Keepers "Cotton Trails" cardstock
Stampin'Up - "Everybunny" stamp set
- Watercolor pencils
- Scalloped circle punch
- Black ink
- metal embellishments
Nestibilities - scalloped ovals
Ribbon & metal flower brads are from my stash
These boxes are made from the same cartridge and supplies. The only difference is I didn't use the folds for the milk carton, it gives them a different look.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Cheerleaders for katie
My niece, who has had 2 ruptered aneurysms in the last 4 months, is now well enough to start rehab. I was up visiting her one evening when a Dr. came in to work with her alittle bit. Katie was getting frustrated and the Dr gave her a pep talk, which included us also. She told Katie that she was the leader and that everyone around her were her cheerleaders and as long as we were cheering, she had to keep going. Well, of course, what do you think comes to my mind..... you got it paperdoll cheerleaders LOL. I thought that since we could not be there all the time , these could be a simple reminder. So when I got home I got right to it.
I used the Everday Paperdolls cart and cut them at 10.75 in., I used Stampin'Up cardstock & markers, and some Baker's twine for the bows.
Her boyfriend was there that night also and Katie said she wanted to see him in a red cheerleading outfit, I think she meant the real thing, but Matt wouldn't cooperate so this was the best we could do. I brought these up and hung them in her hospital room this week, she loved them and was wondering where hers was so I guess I need to make one of her too.
She has come so far and still has a long road ahead of her but I have faith that she will walk out of that hospital soon.
This is a picture of Katie and her Mom (my sister), taken 2 days ago.
Thanks for looking and hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Valentines
I can't believe how long its been since I've last posted, it's amazing how life just takes over. Let's just say between the holidays, school and 2 huge medical situations in my family there hasn't been a whole lot of time or desire to do any craftin. A week ago I hosted a card party at my sister's house for her Red Hatter Ladies group and these are the cards I came up with for them to make. It was a fun afternoon, I love sharing my passion with others and seeing the different variations that people come up with using my creations.
Products used:
Stampin'Up -- cardstock, stamps(sentiments), ink, border punch and ribbons
Cuttlebug - heart embossing
Sweethearts cartridge-- scalloped hearts (3, 2.5, 2 in)
Imagine More Cards cart -- hearts in 3rd card (3.5in)

Christmas block
I've been seeing these glass blocks all over the place and people have done the cutest things with them. So when I came across them, on sale, at my LSS I thought I'd see what I could do with it.
The snowmen are cut out of the printable vinyl, using the Snow Angel Imagine cart, and they were cut at 5 in. The letters are are cut at .50in using the Gypsy font and welded together. I added glittered snow and snowballs to the glass block and tied a fancy ribbon , which I found at Michaels, around it . I found the stand at the same LSS, Crafts Direct, that I the glass block came from.... on sale also! Gotta love sales!!!
The saying reads "Snowmen fall from heaven unassembled", its kinda hard to read in these pictures, that's why I posted in both backgrounds. It was a quick and easy project, it would make a great present but... I think it will stay with me:)
I'm entering this in to a few challenges:
Whimsical Design - Christmas/ Winter project with glitter
Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Christmas
Wacky Wednesday -- Christmas
Thanks for looking and Happy Holidays!!

Stampin' Up Christmas Cards
I am a fairly new Stampin' Up demonstrator and I recently started up a monthly card club. We meet at my house on a Sat. afternoon, I like to refer it to as our "Ladies Time-Out", and with my SU product I show them how easy it can be to make your own cards. I have snacks, a few giveaways, and everyone leaves with at least 4 cards, that they made themselves, and another little project I've come up with. I usually have between 8-10 people attend and so far its been a blast, it's great to be able to share something you love with others.
These are the cards we made last month, they just happen to be the Christmas cards I'm sending out this year.
The first 2 cards are from my favorite stamp set and designer paper.
Supplies:
Christmas Lodge Stamps
Frostwood Lodge
Cardstock & Ink - cherry cobbler, early expresso and olive green, whispering white
Dazzling Detail glitter
Water Color pencils
Viva Decor pens - bulbs on tree
Bakers twine for the bow
For this card supplies used:
Delightful Decorations stamp set
Ornament punch
Cobbler Red, Early Expresso, Very Vanilla
Basic Pearls embellishments
Red Cobbler satin ribbon

Redneck Wine Glasses
This weekend is our annual ladies Christmas party. It was started many years ago by my husbands grandma, Marge. Grandma Marge passed away 2 years ago but it was decided to continue on in her memory. It also was decided that every year there would be new hostesses and guess who was chosen for this year.... 2 of my SIL's, a family friend, and I!! We chose a wine theme so the games, prizes and even the gift exchanges all revolve around wine. I came across this idea at our LSS, Crafts Direct,.and just thought this would be perfect for the party. You see we are all from "Up Nort" , "You Betcha", Dont'cha Know" ... and I must not forget
"Uff-DA!!" LOL These Redneck wineglasses will be prizes for our guests
They were easy and very inexpensive to make. The jars are old canning pint size canning jars and the stems are small vases that I found at Savers for .69 ea. Candlestick holders can be used, but I could not find any of those but I thought these worked great. I filled one vace with glitter snow flakes and the other I used MS glitter. I then glued the jars to the vases using E6000 glue and let them fry overnight. I then attached the buttons, ribbon and bakers twine. For the lettering, I used the Mickey Font cartridge cutting the letters at .75in and the numbers at .50in. Everything I used was from my stash excepted for the vases.
And there you have it... beautiful RedNeck Wineglasses

Flowers for Katie
Last Sunday my 22 yr old niece, Katie, had a Brain Aneurysm that burst, by the grace of God, she was saved, and is still with us. She will be in ICU for at least 2weeks and is expected to make a full recovery....God is Good! In the ICU they are not allowed to have real flowers so I thought i would make some up for her. I'm going down to visit her today so last night I whipped this bouquet up to take down to her.
Red is her favorite color so I made sure there was alot of red. I used the Flower Shoppe, Forever Young, and Enjoy the Seasons cartridges. I hope she likes!
Please keep Katie in your prayers, she's got a long road ahead of her.
Thanks for looking!
